Best deep dish Chicago pizza I've had in a while. It is also convenient and comfortable.
I finally had a chance to stop by during normal business hours; I usually end up passing through the area outside of business hours. The business was nice and the staff was friendly. My wife and I split a medium classic deep dish pizza. It was delicious and very filling...we only ate half and brought the other half home. I'm excited to throw a couple slices in the oven for dinner tomorrow. I think we'll try an all-meat deep dish next time. Definitely recommend this place.
Ok, I've visited and had the best pizza in Chicago and I'll definitely say that Acme is spot on in flavor. It's also tame Chicago-style pizza in the sense that it's not as thick and casserole like as I've had-- and I love that for me! Our Italian sausage and pepperoni pizza was fantastic, and I enjoyed the crust as well. Our to-go order for pizza night was perfect!
Good Lord, where to start? The pizza is the best in the Greater Raleigh area and they also have very good sandwiches. I normally get the Philly cheesesteak with double meat and it is the best I've ever had. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The place is ran incredibly well and you know that the staff pull together as a team because a restaurant doesn't have incredible food by accident, but by teamwork on all levels. This place rocks!
I like this place as it is the best and maybe the only choice for a deep dish. I like the service and food quality. The only meh is you cannot order togo on Fridays.
Tasty pizza with a nice thick crispy crust and delicious sauce and cheese. First time trying AcME Pizza and I would definitely try it again. Fast and very friendly service. Hearty slices, what's not to like?!
I love - and prefer- NY style pizza, but have been craving a deep dish pizza all year and this one did not disappoint! The pizza was thick and the toppings were plentiful. I enjoyed the generous amount of chunky sauce. It was really delicious! I ordered the ACME classic that had a variety of toppings inside. The NY style pizza was also really good! Whatever mozzarella cheese they use has a strong (but really nice) flavor. I wish the crust was a little bit crispier for my liking, but it was still good! Definitely recommend!
This place was voted best deep dish for the past 5+ years we I had to check it out! Our experience with deep dish ordering is that it takes time so we decided to call ahead. They were very friendly and trusted us because they only asked for a name to start the deep dish pizza ahead of time (Deep dish usually takes 30-45 minutes). When we arrived, the place was a little busy but there were tables available (Saturday afternoon). We ordered the Killer Garlic Knots. Description: Tender, chewy pizza dough, fried crispy-golden. Coated with garlic oil and Parmesan cheese with a side of marinara sauce. This was the best way to describe this. The Garlic Knots alone gets five stars! Just as we were done with the appetizer, our waitress brought out THE MEATHEAD DEEP DISH. This was loaded with all the meats! We ordered the medium which is plenty for a party of 2 and some! Deep Dish met our expectations! No complaints at all! 5 stars!
